The Center provides blood collection, processing, testing, apheresis functioning, manufacturing, storage, and shipping or blood products.
The Sullivan Memorial Blood Center is LEED Gold certified and designed to minimize energy consumption, conserve resources, minimize adverse effects to the environment and improve occupant productivity, health, and comfort. During construction, 98.78 tons of construction waste was recycled instead of being sent to a landfill. In addition, high efficiency plumbing fixtures were utilized as well as minimum ozone impact refrigerants
