PROJECT DESCRIPTION

IAP Design Build, LLC. acted as the prime contractor for the construction of the Battle Command Training Center at Fort Stewart. In addition to constructing this facility, a vehicle maintenance facility, sentry station, general-purpose storage facility, and organizational vehicle parking (hardstand) were constructed.


Within the Training Center facility, the following types of rooms were constructed and outfitted: conference rooms, classrooms, administrative offices, an auditorium, a computer repair room, a security room, and a break area.

Anti-terrorism and force protection measures were incorporated into the design including maximum feasible standoff distance from roads, parking areas, and vehicle unloading areas.
